Fatsheep is situated next to the lovely village green in Reeth. Stroll around this great Dales village and you will find us on the ground floor of the Old Literary Institute.
Reeth lies at the junction between Arkengarthdale and Swaledale, within the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The large village green, surrounded by 18th century houses, forms the focal point of many popular local events.
The town initially served the needs of the local farming community, but also became a centre for hand-knitting and the local lead industries. Today there are a variety of craft workshops and tearooms to tempt you and a market every Friday, making Reeth an excellent stopping off point!
Reeth has also played host to many films and TV series, most notably All Creatures Great and Small.
As well as Fatsheep you will find plenty of other places to visit in Reeth including craft workshops and a great little museum.
Reeth is an ideal base for a walking holiday all year round with challenging trails over the tops and lovely riverside and country walks. If you are out walking for the day we can keep your purchases for you until you return or if you are staying in the area we will deliver out of shop hours.
Our opening hours and stock vary so you might want to 'phone & check before travelling a long way to see us.
